Ken Hohenberg

Chairman

Mr. Hohenberg has been a HAPO member since 1972. He has served on the Board of Directors since 2012.

Before retiring Mr. Hohenberg served as Chief of Police/Deputy City Manager for 44 years for the City of Kennewick. In honor of Hohenberg’s dedication and accomplishments during his tenure with Kennewick Police Department, the headquarters building now bears his name. He currently serves as commissioner for the Port of Kennewick.

Mr. Hohenberg was appointed by Governor Gregoire to be Commissioner for the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission in 2011 and Washington Auto Theft Prevention Authority in 2007. He has been involved in the following committees: International Association of Chiefs of Police, FBI National Academy Associates, Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs. Mr. Hohenberg has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Washington University in Law and Justice/AA & AAS from Columbia Basin College.
