We have made it easy for members to join via desktop, tablet, or even their phone. We will broadcast our meeting right to your device so that you can see and hear from our executive team and board of directors.

How to Attend

To join the virtual annual meeting, register for the meeting ahead of time using the form on the right. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email and you will receive an email with a link to join the meeting.

What you Need

We have made this as simple as possible. All you need is:

  • An internet or cellular connection
  • A desktop, tablet, or PC
  • Speakers

How it Works

The link we provide you with will launch a web browser. Follow the instructions on the screen to either join via your web browser or download the meeting software. You will be prompted to enter your name and email, and then you will be placed into the meeting as a participant.

You will not need a microphone or webcam because this meeting is a one-way broadcast. As a participant you can ask questions via the chat tool as well as vote on initiatives via a digital poll provided during the meeting. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a webcam or microphone?

No. This is a one way video broadcast. HAPO representatives will be the only participants using video and audio throughout the meeting.

Can I join from my smartphone?

Yes. You can join from a smartphone or tablet. These devices will require you to download the meeting app. Search for "Zoom" in the Google Play or App Store and download it to your device. The app should automatically launch when you click the meeting link we provide.

What if I have a question?

Members can submit their questions using the Feedback form, and selecting "Annual Membership Meeting" as the Type of Feedback. The executive team and board of directors will respond to these questions by the end of the week.  Any old or new business can also be submitted via the Feedback form, please tag these submission as Old or New business in the comments.

What do I do if I'm having technical difficulties connecting?

Please join a few minutes early to ensure you are able to see and hear the broadcast. We will open up the meeting five minutes prior to the scheduled start time to help attendees with technical difficulties. If you are experiencing issues seeing or hearing the panelists, you may use the Q&A tool to send questions to our team. We will do our best troubleshoot issues.

How will we vote on credit union initiatives?

Our platform allows us to send out a poll to all attendees. You will be able to vote on initiatives in real time just like the in person event.

How will meeting motions be handled?

There is an option to "Raise Hand" in our platform. We will use that feature to capture the first and second on meeting motions.

What if I get disconnected?

If something happens to your connection, please use the provided link to rejoin the meeting.
