HAPO in the Community

We’re all about community

Every year, HAPO supports local organizations throughout the Washington State; Umatilla, Morrow, Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Gilliam, Hood River, Multnomah, Sherman, Wasco, and Washington Counties in the state of Oregon; and Boundary, Bonner, Shoshone, Kootenai, Benewah, Lewis, Nez Perce, and Latah Counties of Idaho. We partner with organizations that help families prosper and thrive throughout all stages of life.

We strive to create a positive impact on our members and the communities we serve through charitable contributions as well as volunteerism. As we support organizations in our community, we look beyond the financial and seek true partnerships that allow us to support a cause as well as share the benefits we offer through HAPO membership.

HAPO provides resources in the form of monetary donations, financial education, and financial services. We also have a mobile branch that is fully equipped to provide financial services, guidance, and accessibility from anywhere.

HAPO’s Pillars of Giving

Strengthening our Families: We believe in supporting causes and organizations that positively improve the lives of women, children and families in our communities. Whether we are sponsoring a family-friendly event or providing resources for women and children in need, we are working to build positive community relationships and enhance the lives of others.

Providing Financial Education and Literacy: We are committed to helping our members and their families feel confident about their finances. That’s why we provide financial literacy in the schools, along with one-on-one financial coaching, resources and workshops in the communities we serve. Creating an Inclusive Community: We believe diversity is the key to achieving and sustaining a culture of empowerment and inclusion in the communities we serve. That’s why we sponsor and support events that empower and engage people of every ethnicity, age, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation and cultural background.
